We are excited to announce that Joe Saracione is once again producing his high quality fly reels! Please contact us to pre-order any of Mr. Saracione's fine fly reels. These reels are in very high demand and some models are expected to be sold out prior to their release! Mr. Saracione is introducing a complete line of his beautiful Mark IV Trout Series fly reels (2 3/4", 3" & 3 1/4") sizes, the Mark IV Salmon, Steelhead (3 1/2" and 3 3/4") and Spey (4" and 4 1/4") Fly Reels. The Saracione Mark IV 3 3/4" and 4" Salmon and Steelhead fly Reels are available in two spool widths; narrow 15/16"and wide 15/32". The Saracione Mark IV Series are the result of many Mark I, Mark II and other "Classic" American designs that Mr. Saracione produced one at a time for more than 20 years. All Saracione Mark IV Series Fly Reels have a perforated side plate on the handle side, and solid side plate on the opposite side of the fly reel. The spools are ventilated on both sides and come in a beautiful champagne color. This modern touch in a traditional design gives the reel a gorgeous look unmatched by any other fly reel. The Mark IV Series "Trout models" have a click/pawl system to prevent overruns. The Mark IV Salmon, Steelhead and Spey fly reels have a sealed multi - disc Rulon adjustable drag system. All Salmon, Steelhead and Spey Mark IV Series fly reels have interchangeable spools available and are easily convertible for left or right hand reeling. At this time the trout models do not have extra spools available. You are welcome to pre-order below or contact us to place an order. We now can accept credit and debit cards over the phone. These reels are selling very quickly! We recommend ordering as early as possible to assure availability. There has been a delay in the initial production of all reels. As of September, 2008, there are a limited number of 3 3/4" wide available, the narrows are anticipated to be released in the Fall. The 3 1/2" and 4" reels are also expected in the Fall. We are very sorry for the unexpected delay. The first run of 2 3/4" reels are sold out, another run is planned for the Fall of 2008. We currently have both the 3" and 3 1/4" reels in stock. As always, we include a free 100 yard spool of backing for ALL fly reel orders and offer free shipping to the USA and discounted shipping worldwide.
